An artisan brand for handmade chutney: from the wordmark through the bottle design to product imagery in 3D.

- The situation
- Jo's Naturals made chutney by hand, with selected ingredients and in small batches. The existing website matched the ambition of the product neither in design nor in function. What was missing was a visual identity that carries the craft and feels premium at the same time.
- Approach
- We built the brand from the mark to the label, and aimed everything at one question: how do you make taste visible? The answer carried website, packaging and product imagery alike.
- What we did
- Logo and corporate designNatural, restrained and with visible craft, matched to the product rather than to the trend.
- Bottle design and labelsDesign of the whole packaging system, tuned to the varieties and to shelf impact.
- 3D product imageryVisualisations that show ingredients and design together, without a photo shoot per variety.
- WebsiteBuilt with a narrative structure: the impression was to begin at the first click, not on opening the jar.
- Result
- What emerged was a closed brand picture: mark, packaging, product imagery and website all of a piece, with an artisan product, the decisive difference on the shelf. The brand was later discontinued; the reasons lay outside the project. We show the work because it stands regardless.
