After a hacking attack, the largest used car dealer in the Rhein-Erft district was left without a website. Rebuilt, with a vehicle listing, enquiry forms and a refreshed brand.

- The situation
- The old website could not be restored after an attack and was simply gone. A dealer with over 200 vehicles and an attached master workshop was left without a digital front door. Even before that, essentials were missing: no connection to mobile.de, so stock had to be maintained twice, and no forms for vehicle purchase or workshop appointments. Both ran over the phone.
- Approach
- A rebuild from the ground up rather than a restore, combined with a refresh of the brand. Stock now comes from mobile.de, enquiries run through forms, and the site meets accessibility requirements. With a dealer whose customers span every age group, that is not decoration.
- What we did
- Vehicle listing with mobile.deStock is maintained once in mobile.de and appears on the website. No double entry, no stale listings.
- Purchase and workshopDedicated form paths for vehicle purchase and appointments at the master workshop: enquiries arrive structured instead of by phone.
- Brand refreshedA new logo and an additional contrast colour that lifts the presence out of the competition's grey.
- Accessible to WCAG 2.2 AAContrast, keyboard operation and structure designed in from the start, not bolted on afterwards.
- Result
- A total loss has become a presence that does more than its predecessor: stock, purchase, workshop, valuations, finance and registration service all run through one interface. Enquiries reach the business in writing and in full, instead of being ground up between showroom and workshop.
